I hate complain about the basement since it has been a blessing to be able to finish it, but it has come with some very stressful moments. One of the worst was that our couch didn't fit down the stairs. Two delivery attempts and a visit from the salesman/decorator to our house and the end result was a broken window, but now we have a couch!!

You're all invited over to watch a movie, or take a nap, it's really comfortable.

This is a bad picture, but the other trauma from RC Willey. The Entertainment center and table and chairs where delivered in Dec and I recieved a call from the delivery people saying "We're about two houses down the street and can't make it up with the snow, do you have a neighbor with a truck?" So, Dan, neighbor Chris, and the delivery people hauled the stuff up from two houses down, and they didn't set the stuff up since it took so long and turns out the table didn't come with the hardware. Aaarg! It's all better now and I'm ready to spend the rest of the winter watching movies. I signed up for Netflix in anticipation. :)

Ah!What a pain! Glad it's all over and that BDR isn't afraid to break a window :)
Oh my gosh...I hope you never have to move the couch back out! Actually, I don't know if you remember that horrid basement apartment that we stated out in, but when it came time to move out of it we had similar trouble. We actually had to call the R.C. Willy salespeople and ask them to send over the guys who delivered our bed some nine months earlier to help us figure out how to get it back out.
Well it looks great....maybe worth it right???
