Back to School

The boys started first grade last week, August 20th.  Dan took amazing pictures last year, but this year it was all we could do to get Seth to smile; maybe he was just too nervous.  Seth keeps telling me that first grad is too long.

 They took sack lunches the first day, but they seem to like school lunch and if it helps them expand their list of acceptable foods I'm all for it.  Brad insisted on setting his own alarm clock for school.  Apparently, me promising to wake him up was not enough reassurance. They get up with their alarm and would have plenty of time in the morning if it didn't take them so long to eat breakfast.

 They both have the same teachers, but different classes.  One will start Spanish and the other English and then they switch half way through the day.  Brad's Spanish name is "Bernardo" and Seth's is "Eduardo".  They sit by each other at lunch and play together at recess, along with their friend Derek or Vince.

We walked with them to school the first week, but this week they did it by themselves with some neighbor friends.
